Fourteen Holy Helpers Catholic Church

Two servants work to provide a return on the gifts that their master has provided. The third servant buried his gift and returned what was given. Faithfulness to God means having the courage to take bold initiatives, in pastoral life, family life, and business, to be creative, even entrepreneurial, to express our gratitude to God for all that He has given us by making it grow.

Tax collectors were thought to be among the worst of sinners by many in the time of Jesus. Today, Jesus shows us that any sinners who repent and accept Him will be saved.

On October 2, 1864 a group of Catholic people from the area of Middle Ebenezer (currently the neighborhood of Gardenville in West Seneca, NY) organized and met as a parish to celebrate the first Mass with the priest newly arrived as their pastor.  Now, 150 years later, the parishioners and friends of 14 Holy Helpers Parish celebrate their continuing sharing of Catholic faith and education with an Anniversary Mass. 

Note:  There is a musical prelude of approx. 22 min. 20 sec. before the Mass starts. The entire broadcast runs for 1 hr. 47 min. 19 sec.
