Second Sunday in Ordinary Time.
Wine is the blood of the grape. When Jesus says that his hour has not yet come he is telling his mother that the time to shed his blood is not yet, but, when he has completed the work that his Father has given him to do, his glory will be revealed and God's people will enjoy a celebration that knows no bounds.
